Artwork No. 157

Project for the Museum of Seabed Inquiry Ship in Setouchi / SOKOSOKO SOZOSHO. / Re-ing-A

This is an ongoing project first launched in 2010. The SOKO SOKO SOZOSHO is a place where visitors can develop their thoughts about the things found at the bottom of the sea. The red brick structure on the beach, the Re-ing-A, has been built with bricks salvaged from boats found during the Ototoi Maru’s salvage activities on the seabed off the coast of Awashima.
