The memorial garden of Sakae Tsuboi
At the 2013 Triennale, novelist Sakae Tsuboi’s birthplace was transformed from an empty lot into a flower garden. A 100-year-old olive virtually contemporaneous with Tsuboi was transplanted to the site, where the two-meter-high tree now stands as a symbol. The site also features 10 flowerbeds of various sizes, blooming with the seasons.
