Honshu sees Shikoku
A Shikoku-shaped cut out floats in the sky
Across from Uno Port where the defunct Utaka ferry once docked, a single metal line depicts the shape of Shikoku, as if drawn in the air. The two islands of Honshu and Shikoku face each other across the Seto Inland Sea, serving as both a metaphor and symbol for the region’s myriad islands.
