An installation of island-themed playground equipment. Ogijima is famous for octopus fishing. Taking the octopus trap (takotsubo) as its motif, Team Ogi created a playground in an empty lot near the port where the island children can gather and play. Since the start of the Triennale, an increasing number of families have relocated to Ogijima, resulting in the reopening of the island’s school and preschool. This project is oriented towards the future, embodying the hope that the children will grow and prosper.
