Generative drawing for Japanese paper house 2.0

og03

A wall mural grows and expands to cover the inside of a house The artist used as his canvas the interior walls of a 90-year-old building that was once a general store. Taking the vegetation that grows prolifically all over the island as his motif, he employed two different techniques to make it appear as if ivy is actually taking over the entire space. In addition to this piece, he is creating a collaborative work with another artist. After the Triennale finishes, the mural panels will be removed and reassembled in a different ocation to become a development projection of the house.
