This work brings together a wooden hull form sitting abandoned in a shipyard in Uwajima for the last 30 years with a disused latch needle factory. The corrugated slate that covered the walls and roof of the factory has been removed to reveal the building’s skeleton, with the hull form sitting upside down on the floor.
