Look for a god quietly standing by While people go about their daily lives, spirits borrow animal forms to watch over all their comings and goings. Creatures made from Sanuki stone and cast iron have been scattered throughout Shikokumura, linking the houses together and serving both as guideposts and as a testimony to the pledge between spirits and humans.
