Inujima "Art House Project" C-Art House / "Ether"

A renovated 200-year-old building, C-Art House sits on a hillside overlooking the Seto Inland Sea. The gallery houses an installation of leveling strings (strings used to mark horizontal lines at construction sites) crisscrossing the open space. Resembling rays of light, the vividly colored leveling strings connect the island with the art and with the visitor.
