Shodoshima is known for its spectacular scenery. The installations produced by a variety of Asian artists for Setouchi Triennale harmonize with the island’s rich, natural charm. We invite you to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the island’s mountains, seashores and countryside as you visit the various art sites.

Transportation on the Island

Shodoshima’s six ports, Tonosho, Ikeda, Kusakabe, Sakate, Fukuda and Obe, are connected by local bus routes. Depending on which sites you plan to visit, you can save travel time by entering via one port and departing from another.
