Eyes of nature(from the earth)
"Eyes of Nature, from the Earth"
The artist will use two Chinese juniper trees on the premises of an old folk house to set up a tree house.
The branches of the massive trees, which reach out like the flames of a fire, serve to shield homes and people from the winds of typhoons and storms as they spread their roots into the island's soil and extend their trunks toward the sun. "Eyes of Nature, from the Earth," which builds a tree house on the living stage provided by the trees, is an interactive spot where people can get closer to nature, feel the sounds of the wind and waves, and take in a panoramic view of the grand scenery and abundant natural landscapes produced by the Seto Inland Sea and the islands of Teshima, Oshima and Ogijima. The artist will also fashion swings from the form of the trees to offer a place where adults and children alike can have fun in touch with nature.
